Deletion indicator for Sales Order

Hi,

As per my understanding a Sales Order can be deleted completely or line item can be deleted completely,when there is no subsequent documents.

Also we can set the block for deliveries or billing.

Is the any possibility to set Sales order deletion Indicator ,like we use for customer master.

Hi Pradeep,

How about assigning a reason for rejection for all the line items in the sales order,See if that serves your purpose,

You can also creating a custom message at Order reason

Hi ,

SAP defined deletion indicator available in PO and at same time SAP given provision as reason for rejection in sale order .

i hope this is enough to block the delivery for a sale order item . if you want to block whole delivery you can put all .

There is no functionality of Deletion Indicator set for transaction data. the concept of deletion indicator is only applicable for masterdata as there could be transactions created on the masterdata before it is planned to be deleted. This is not needed in transactions. You can either completely delete the line item or set it for rejection.

In Purchase Order, there is a deletion indicator. However this is not applicable in any of the sales process.
