Hi team,

even though there is a green indicator and all services have been started, I cannot connect to the system.

That's what I see.

ports are open, tested through telnet, and also i get the XML response from http://<server>:5<port>13?wsdl

Any ideas?

Best,

.CV

Hi Michael,

Well I am not the admin guy, that's why I don't have these passwords.
I have the server's IP and the Instance number.

I tried to connect through Telnet but nothing happened.

ok but, who is the SAP HANA administrator?

You have to ask him to create an user with role to connect

Please can you show me the newest entries in the nameserver + indexserver?

In the SAP HANA Studio in the Diagnosis tab?

If not you can get these on the OS?

Unfortunately I am not allowed by the system to do so.

Even though, I am not quite sure whether it's due to authorization or the connection error.

Is still the OS an option? You need to guide me to that too.

I think this is an authorization issue..

You user has the correct role to connect?

Hmmm... ok you should be given an authorisation error if this was the case.

Go to putty and log on to the hostname
.

You will need the <sid>adm user and password.

Navigate to the usr/sap/<SID>/HDB00/<hostname>

Print the indexserver + nameserver and export to here.

Also please make sure your user has the correct password? Are you sure of this??

Thanks for your effort !

Hi Christoforos,

Please try to:

1. delete this system in your HANA studio

2. Close HANA studio

3. Open HANA studio again

4. Add system

Check if there is any latest error in trace files under directory /usr/sap/<SID>/HDB<instance_number>/<hostname>/trace

Regards,

Ning

Now I cannot add it.

The system cannot be reached.
