BPC SendGovernor Service is not starting

Hello Experts,

We are using BPC 10.0 M Sp17 with SQL Server 2008 Sp3.

We are seeing an issue with the "BPC SendGovernor Service" where it is showing the status as "Starting" from long time but is not getting started. I have tried restarting Application server but that did not helped.

Please Advice.

Hi Stefan,

Yes, The Appserver db was not accessible causing service to not start. If you are facing same issue make sure Appserver is accessible.

When a Windows service doesn't start first things to check are the Windows Application and System logs in the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools - Event Viewer.

Did you make any changes recently?

Hi Rohit,

why you're saying that SendGovernor is not starting? Did you receive some errors? Can you please share errors or logs? Have you searched in sap notes?
