What is the difference between a credit limit request and documented credit decision? One is longer available in fscm i know. Are they 2 separate solutions for increasing the credit limit in a controlled manner? Is there a integration between the 2?
thanks, that is good to know. My understanding is that the credit limit request is a 'free' email that is send to the person that is mentioned/entered in the approver field in the credit limit request. The creator of the credit limit request determines who is the right person to do the approval. The system does not check whether this is the person with the authorization for approving credit limit requests in general and also there is no checking on certain amount intervals (for 1 million and below person X, for > 1 million person Y). All this would require a custom workflow. Correct?
