Issue while importing the metadata into SAP PI 7.31

Hi All,

We have developed an IDOC to File interface in SAP PI 7.31 using the IDOC_AAE sender communication channel. We have done the respective configurations in both SAP PI & ECC systems.

But when we tried to import  metadata in SAP PI we have received the following error.

Could any one plz suggest how to sort-out this issue.

PFA for reference.

We tried to import the metadata using connection type as : Manual

Now its working.....

I have added the Object: S_IDOCDEFT (EDI_TCD = "WE30"; ACTVT = "03") to the user.

Hi Rahul,

If you are trying to import the Z IDOC then please check all the segments are released in ECC. transaction WE30 and WE31.

Harish

If its fine in DEV and you moved all to QA then why are you trying o import metadata in QA again. This should send in QA as a TR.

Thanks,

Apu

Yes all imported objects like IDOC/RFC need to send as a TR from DEV to QA.

Hi Rahul,

Check the below sap note is applicable to your system.

1952867 - Issues in Idoc metadata monitor

  • The monitor cannot be loaded, if the respective destination is not available.
  • The Preload functionality does not work for some of the server nodes in the cluster. The metadata is loaded only on some of the server nodes.

Praveen.
