Connection test for type 'HTTP connection to ABAP system' fails

Hi Team,

Connection test of the RFC destination SAP_BW using Tcode SM59 fails. This connection is known to be functioning correctly. This error occurs on PQA300 and PDV200 systems that are on Support Pack 14. This error does NOT occur on the PPR200 system that is on Support Pack 8.

Following deployment of Support Pack 14 to PQA300 and PDV200 systems, PPM Project Management reports failed to load. It was found that the path prefix /sap/bw/BEx was appended to the URL twice. To resolve this issue, the entry /sap/bw/BEx was deleted from the Target System Settings > Path Prefix field in Tcode SM59. The report now runs correctly in PQA300 using the correct URL. However, when a connection test is run in SM59 for SAP_BW, it fails with the below error.

Hello Aishwarya,

You can ignore the results from the connection test, since the original application is working.

The connection test is returning the 404 because there is no prefix defined at the destination. Nothing to worry about.
