BIP 4.0 supports AFO?

Hi,

We have currently BI platform 4.0 installed in our company and have a requirement to install Analysis edition for Microsoft Office.

When i referred the PAM document for analysis 1.4,edition for MS Office, i found that BIP 4.0 is not supported and BIP 4.1 is prerequisite(refer screenshot Analysis1_4_PAM.PNG ).

However,When i  refer the "SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office Administrator Guide" ( screenshot Analysis1_4_Admin.png) i find that BIP 4.0 and BO 3.1 is supported.

Now i am confused here.

Can someone provide a clarity on whether BO 4.0 supports analysis 1.4,edition for MS Office or any other versions of Analysis for Office

From my memory, SAP support for end of life for BI4.0 was December 31, 2015

I recommend you look at BI4.1 or BI4.2 for Analysis Office

My question was more on the authenticity of the 2 documents mentioned above.

Initially, going by PAM , i recommended to senior management to have BI 4.1 installed to support analysis ,edition for MS Office and now they found this Admin document stating 4.0 is supported.
