HR MSS Leave request not displaying in report RPTARQPOST program

Hi Experts,

I have below requirement SAP leave application using MSS portal

Requirement :-

where if manager raise leave request on behalf of his employee using MSS then it should not wait for an approval by manager & it should appear in RPTARQPOST report without manager approval.

Facing below Issue :-

Whenever manager submits leave request for his subordinate(on behalf) then work-item displaying in manager MSS inbox ( UWL Inbox ) for an approval but it should be not because manager itself raising an request for his employee.

Current Confiq Setting in PTARQ tcode

In PTARQ standard workflow configured WS12300111 ( Single Approval Level Workflow ) against leave type rule group.

Request you to help on this concern.

In leave request we don't differentiate between if manager raised or employee!

So it ll follow the process of the absence you configured in V_t554s_web

Hi Siddharth,

We have also having exact similar requirement in our project where we have configured the workflow WS12300111 in the view V_T554S_WEB.

When an employee raising a leave request, it follows the workflow approval process as configured in PTARQ an update the infotype.

But we have a requirement like when manager raise any leave request on behalf of its reporting employee, it should not come back to manager's inbox for an approval, rather it should auto approve and update the infotype.

Could you please suggest any solution or enhancement to implement to achieve this functionality.

You can create specific absences which manager can raise for employees which has auto approval and cannot be used by employees

or develop something custom like this, you need to check modus whats passed probably?

Hi Siddharth,

Thank you for sharing exact useful information & we copied standard workflow with condition If Initiator is also Agents will do auto approve with FM PT_ARQ_REQUEST_EXECUTE .

FORK details of 2 mandatory branches

1. Dialog Step   ( Dialog Leave approval Step - Standard Leave Request Task )

2. Background Step ( Custom Code with FM PT_ARQ_REQUEST_EXECUTE with Wait 10 seconds)

After Execution of FM after 10 seconds FORK-branch 1 also completed without approval & infotype updated after execution of RPTARQPOST program,

Error : workflow not moving to next steps after FORK execution with below error at Branch 1.

For Dialog step standard task set as General Task

Below details of Chronicle view , EXTRAS->ERROR. Request you to suggest on this.

Workitem ID against an error is for Standard task in FORM Branch 1.

from this Tcode  PTARQ you have to change the config for leave types no approvals required..

like Siddarth mentioned .
