Login Error messages are shows in Dutch language whic needs to be changed

Hello ,

When User try to login into BI launch pad and if he types incorrect password, It gives error in dutch language as shown in attachment.

User wants it in English language. We tried all necessary settings as per guide but no luck!!

settings in CMC preferences --

Product Locale   -- -user browser locale

Preferred viewing locale --- user browser locale

in IE setting --- Default language is set as English .

any help much appreciated.....:-)

Hello Sumit

Have you tried checking what the user preferences is in BI Launchpad? (Not in CMC)

When the user logs into the BI Launchpad, check his Preferences (top right corner next to his name and applications dropdown)

Both the user Preference settings are similar as mentioned above.

any specific setting you want me to check under APPLICATIONS ?

Sumit,

     Change bit Product Local and Preferred Viewing Mode to ENGLISH, logout and have the user log back in to see of the error message change. 

Changing these options should now force the Applications to show in English.

Hey Sumit

What happens when the user logs on from a different computer? One where the locales are correct? And vice versa, what is the error message language when you try to log on to his computer? That should narrow it down to whether it's computer related or something with the user's BI profile

If the problem is a setting on the user's computer, you can also try Control Panel -> Region and Language
