Dear All,
We are implementing SPM 3.0 on BW 740 and would be handing the application to the maintenance soon.
Meanwhile, we were running regular data loads to our test systems and could see that the OPMDM_VALI and OPMDM_VALI_COUNT were increasing in size with every load. I understand that these tables store the count and validation results for the records for each data update.
I was thinking if, before start of maintenance, we could implement a regular clean-up strategy for the OPMDM_VALI* tables, it could save the system from a lot of memory issues in future.
Please let me know if there are any regular housekeeping recommendations for SPM implementation, like cleanup of validation tables, etc. We are already implementing process chains for regular PSA and change log deletions.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Abhishek Rajan.
