Hi Folks,
This is regarding a concern on CRM- Web UI.
After upgrading the system from CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.03, we are getting a symbol (special characters) during Contract creation i.e. Contract Management -> New Contract on Web UI screen.
Please follow the below shown steps to reach on the said screen:
- Login to Web UI
- Entered the BP
- Go to Nav Bar 'Contract Management'
- Select 'New Contract' option
- Check the new line items
Please find the same in attached document to understand the example in better way.
Please go thru the same and let me know if you have ever faced this issue and what step you performed to fix this.

look at the code in the get method in the UI component.
Cheney suggested to see in the bol layer also. use t code GENIL_BOL_BROWSER and try to read the data. if it is happening there also, then it is not web ui problem. it could be data it self is corrupt or some other code might be causing the problem.
try to find out the master table for division and see if data is corrupted.

These are special characters also called white spaces. Where is this Division being picked up from? Is it copy pasted somewhere? You might want to correct it from where it is being picked.
These characters will not be visible in GUI.

This is the IS-U contract creation page, maybe you can simulate the create process in BOL tools.
check the issue is in the WEB UI or in the BOL layer.
