Update from BO 4.1 to 4.2 fails to install

I have followed the different SAP guides along with SAP document "Minor release update guide".

We are updating our BI Platform from BO EDGE 4.1 SP3 Patch 3 to BO 4.2.

The recommended setup-files are SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.2 SP2 Patch 4 update under Support Packages and Patches.

The installation fails on prerequisites:  minimum support package version, with the message as attached below.

Though the general guide clearly states that you can update directly from BO 4.1 to BO 4.2 with this update.

Is it the wrong installation package or something else missing here?

Hi Alex,

I Thing, that the problem is to install a Patch to the Service Pack to upgrade from BO 4.1 to BO 4.2.

Try to install the Service pack 2 for SAP BO 4.2 to upgrade from SAP Bo 4.1 to SAP BO 4.2 and then install the patch 4 for servicepack 2 for SAP BO 4.2
