Hello,
We are currently in GRC 10.1 SP12, the variable %LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS% is redirecting us to the approval link instead of the Request Status.
Is there a SAP Note to resolve the issue.
Thanks.
Regards,
Jill
Hi,
How can I check to which service (GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL_EU or GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL) the parameter %LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS% is redirected. We have the issue, that after upgrading to SAPK-V1217INGRCFNDA the link redirects to the service GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL_EU. The GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL_EU service is currently not activated in our system. So far we have only used the GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL service.
What is the different between these two services GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL_EU or GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL

Nhung

Hi Jill,
The variable %LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS% will take you to the same screen which you get when you click on "Request Status" link in End user logon, select one of the requests and click on Open button.
Also if you look at the URL in above screenshot it contains "GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL_EU". This is the service which will be activated in SICF to open the submitted requests in EUL Request status.
This is working as per design and it is not the approval URL.
The approval URL contains GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL in it which can be seen in %LINK_APPROVE_REJECT%

Hello Manju,
Thanks for your reply.
Kindly elaborate on this.
So you mean when you clicked on the %LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS% on the email, it must open the request status screen in EUL? Or should it be a standard behavior that when the user clicks on the req stat variable, the user must be redirected to MSMP Instance Status URL as shown below.
Regards,
Jill
Hi Jill,
LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS will not open the request screen in EUL.
You need to provide the GRC ID and password to open the request.
Also for viewing the instance status you need to use %LINK_GET_APPROVERS%. LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS will just open the request.
For both these variables you need a GRC ID and password as they do not open in EUL.
Exception in case SSO is being implemented.
You can also view the Instance status from the End user logon as well.
Make sure all the EUL services are activated in SICF and the guest user is maintained for each of them in the Logon Data tab.

Manju
Thanks again for your reply Manju.
Please see our below observation:
1. %LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS% for CLOSURE email
- redirecting to GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL
<host>:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/grac_oif_request_approval_eu?MODE=D&ENTITY_ID=ACCREQ&OBJECT_ID=ACCREQ%2f001A4ADFAA0F1ED69A800DAC6EDE784E&ENTITY_ID=ACCREQ&sap-client=500&sap-language=EN&sap-accessibility=X&sap-accessibilitymode=CLASSIC#
2. %LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS% for SUBMISSION email
- redirecting to GRAC_OIF_REQUEST_APPROVAL_EU
<host>:<port>/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/grac_oif_request_approval?MODE=D&ENTITY_ID=ACCREQ&OBJECT_ID=ACCREQ%2f001A4ADFAA0F1EE6999F61734F051E6E&ENTITY_ID=ACCREQ
Why do this variable %LINK_GET_REQ_STATUS% redirecting us to a different link even though they are the same? Does the variable have dependency on the notification event (submission, closure)? Thanks.
