Hi Michael,

The error mentioned in this KBA is very common and there are many KBA which are similar to it.

The symptoms mentioned in the KBA is due to the communication and you just need to do following step :

• Edit the hosts file and add an entry for the hostname and the IP address of the SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform server.
• If there is a firewall between the SAP BusinessObject Business Intelligence Platform server (CMS) and the SAP BusinessObjects Mobile server, make sure that the request port is set on the CMS server and that this port and the default port are reachable. (telnet CMSSERVER 6400 (default) and then telnet CMSSERVER 6401 (request port))
• Run the installer as administrator.

It may be typo on KB# or KB might have depreciated. What exactly is your issue?
