The issue has been fixed.

After doing all of the steps suggested it looks that latest Windows 7 update did the trick.

Now the table linking works again without crashing Crystal Reports.

Thank you all for your responses and help.

Hi Gabriel,

Which version of Crystal Reports is this?

Also, could you post the database and the driver being used?

Hello there,

I am the end user for this issue. The version is 2016 SP2.

Hi Vitaly,

When I try to open that page this is what pops up:

"Your user does not have access to the SAP ONE Support Launchpad."

"You are currently signed-in with a P-User ID. The SAP ONE Support Launchpad only works with S-User IDs."

Any ideas?

Visit this discussion:

It has a different link to the same KBA and the content

Thank you.

I have tried all of that yesterday. I keep getting errors no matter what I try.

It said that specified module could not be found. When I search for it myself, the file is there (vle.dll).

Yes, it happened with one of our Customers, that is why it was suggested to use Dependency Walker as an alternative

The KBA has detailed steps and screenshots.

Yes, I have tried Dependency Walker also. Same issue.

Definetely the problem with the vle.dll registration.

Just in one case when all the options listed above failed, customer registered the dll using powershell script. But I did not get details how.

Can you check with your IT if they know how to register dlls using powershell?

We don't have full time IT. I have tryed to run this command from PowerShell:

"regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\vle.dll"

It did not work. Same error as when trying from Run dialog box.

I am trying to uninstall the program -- that does not work either.

Thank you very much for trying to help.

Cheers!
