We use micros 3700 that is running on Win2008 server. It uses SQL Anywhere 16 (16.0.0.1761).
I can login to Sybase Central and dbisql, but then get kicked out usually within a minute, but this varies.
When Sybase Central crashes I get this:
Problem signature:

Additional Information 3: e8f6
Additional Information 4: e8f6be9d198e73741b60cfdd5403bb09
When I use dbisqlc (classic) it's fine, no crashes.
If there is anything else I need to provide I will be more than happy to share.
Thank you,
Craig
Hi Craig,
The exception code and offset indicates memory corruption. Can you run a repair install of SQL Anywhere and see if that corrects problem?

So I ran the SQLA16_Windows_Client and it did not give the option for repair.
I believe it's because it was loading the 64bit version and micros had the 32bit version installed.
I think this is where the problem was, because the OS is Win2008 64bit.
After the install I tried Sybase Central 64bit, it wouldn't connect.
I had to load micros, in odbc 64bit, mirroring it from the odbc 32bit version.
All seems good now in the lab, just not sure if there are any side effects in changing versions.
I will contact micros to see if they have any insite.
Thank you,
Craig
