SAP IDES Download

Hi,i have valid S-User Id from Certification....so am I eligible to download and  use SAP IDES ECC 6.0.....if yes how to download it cause I am seeing you have no authorization for download kinda error....whom and how to contact or this....please guide

The SAP Service Marketplace can only be accessed by SAP Customers and SAP Partners. If you are working for a SAP Customer or SAP Partner, you can request an S-User ID for a specific customer/partner number. The customer number is provided to each company after signing the support agreement with SAP/Partner. Please note that only companies which have a valid maintenance agreement with SAP/Partner will be able to access the portal.

SAP Service Marketplace no longer issues S-User ID’s for certified consultants.

Me: I try to carry myself on a SAp (IDES ECC 6.0 EHP7 & Orcale database) and I hope to properly download the necessary files to set up home here. But it is no longer possible. It is very difficult for me to move forward ...

Hi Harshal,

If you have S-User ID normally you can Download files from the SAP marketplace. If you face any issue to download please post the screen shot...

IDES downloading path,

---------> Home | SAP Support Portal

---------> Download Software

---------> INSTALLATIONS & UPGRADES

-------> By Alphabetical Index (A-Z)

-------> E

-------> SAP ERP

-------> SAP ERP 6.0

-------> Software Provisioning MGR 1.0

-------> Support Package Patches

Select your OS type and Download the SWPM

Back to "SAP ERP"

-------> SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE

-------> EHP 7 FOR SAP ERP 6.0

-------> IDES Version

Select your OS and DB types

Download the following Files,

* Installation Exports

* Kernel

* Database Files

But I think direct link not helps you, the problem is related to authorization of your S-User ID...

Please do the following to check your user authorization,

-----> https://support.sap.com/home.html

-----> Users and Authorization

------> My Authorization and Functions

Now you can see your S-user ID's authorizations, please check do you have "Software download" authorization....

If you have no this authorization, back to previous window and Select "User Management" option,

-----> Select your User

-----> Edit Authorization (Pencil Button on opposite of Authorization Heading)

-----> Select Software Download option

-----> Save

Try again to download software, Hope its helps you...

If still not working Report an Incident to SAP to change your User authorization,

or please contact your Training institute.......
