Dear Experts,
could you please kindly advise on how to do sizing for Hana on Enterprise portal ?
The script get_size.zip from SAP note 1637145 - SAP BW on HANA: Sizing SAP In-Memory Database
doesn't work, as it's complaining about table DDNTT not existing.
The other notes are about ABAP report(s), so they can't be run on a Java system, like Portal.
Many thanks in advance!
Hi Symon,
HANA sizing for Enterprise portal is more of T shirt based approached to be followed.
However HANA DB Memory starts with Mini 128 GB RAM which is Small, 512GB Medium, etc

Thank you, but unfortunately I can't say that this is really helpful.
I already have those infos, just from other URLs.
Also, the content from the link you have provided doesn't have a single word about Enterprise portal.
Maybe the best is to use the quicksizer, but I won't go for it, as it's asking a lot of questions that (probably) not even our Customer can answer.
Hi Symon,
The best practice and standard process you can go with T Shirt based sizing for HANA and also if there is any memory issue you can scale up HANA Memory
Also please check if the below Benchmarks tool helps for sizing for EP with ESS and MSS
SAP Standard Application Benchmarks
Thanks,
Avinash
