Can't add SAP Java AS on NWDS 7.2

Hi Experts,

I have EP server 7.2 and my NWDS 7.2

I am trying to add server here: Windows -> Preferences -> SAP AS Java

I am entering the host instance name and instance number  and click on Add button and, when I click on OK button host XXXXX is not reachable... I'm trying to add the Production server detail the system is running successfully.

Please find the attached screen shoot.

I appreciate any help.

Hi Venkat,

     Have faced the similar issue before.

Goto Management Console Perspective in NWDS. Under  SAP Systems->New SAP System, provide your server details and check in SAP AS JAVA.

Hi Sakthi,

Issue got resolved.. The portal host name and IP files are added in System Host file list then its worked.

Hi Venkat,

You need to check the host entry.And Deployment port open or not ask the the your basis team.After that do the telnet.It's working fine you can able to add the server in nwds.
