SAP ERP 6 EHP7 - IDES version - Client copy error

Hi experts,

While performing a client copy from client 800 (SAP_ALL profile) in a recently installed IDES system, we got the following situations.

The process ended with a "Post-processing required" status. The following error was detected in client copy logs:"Automatic postprocessing of client 801 was incorrect". The message number is FINB_TR088.

After reviewing logs in Tx SLG1 it was noticed that the RFC BT3CNLT800 was not working. Server name and security info were unknown.

After correcting server data towards ours and after resetting the password for the user under the security tab, the post-processing was re executed through Tx FINB_TR_EXEC_AI. This time we got the following errors:

Has someone ever faced this error while performing a client copy in an IDES system? We are currently working on the second edition (2015) of this IDES product. This error was not present while performing client copies in previous version.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards

Hi Diego,

I think the problem related to RFC, "FINB_TR" is related to RFC...

It it is fine can you start from first, from logical system creation to SCCL...

Hi Sajmal,

Thanks for your response.

RFC FIN_TBR was created at the beggining of the client copy process. It works OK.

I don't clearly understand what you are suggesting. Could you please explain futther what should be checked?

Hi Diego,

Could you please start from the first step of Client copy,

If it possible can you please delete the existing Client and Create new one then try....

ie:

* Delete the client

* Create New Logical System (BD54)

* Create Client (SCC4)

* Client Copy (SCCL)

Regards,

Sajmal

HI,

Did you create RFC during client copy? If so, is did you run a check on it?

Thanks for your response Manoj,

Yes, an RFC connection to client 800 was created. It works fine.

The client copy process runs several ours and ends with the above mentioned error (post processing required).

Any suggestion on how to solve this?

Thanks in advance.
