hi,

we have process controlled workflow for SC and all the process steps are of type Approval. I log in with purchaser user and extract some SCs which are in awaiting approval ( please note this purchaser is not part of the approval workflow). Now I can't see edit button in the SC. is this a standard behavior??

Hello,

Yes, this is the expected behavior.
If purchaser is not involved in approval flow, it won't be able to edit the shopping cart.

Only the shopping cart requestor and approvers will be able to edit the carts.

Ricardo

Hi Sankara

Please refer note 1867440 - Available header buttons in Shopping Cart

Below is what it says for EDIT button:

The button is not available for normal user if:

The shopping cart is archived or deleted.

It's a shopping cart template that belongs to another user.

The shopping cart is an external requirement.

The user is not the creator or requester of the shopping cart.

All items are rejected.

There is no item that can be deleted.

If the user hasn't got authorization to change a shopping cart (Authorization Object - BBP_PD_SC, Activity - 02).

An admin user can edit:

Any shopping cart template.

If an item has error in transfer process status

I hope that helps

Regards

Vinita
