Desktop Intelligence vs Web Intelligence

Hi friends, I have been working for the last 10 years with Desktop Intelligence and my company plans to change to Argos.  My question is: Is desktop intelligence replaced by web intelligence and finally out of support?. Have Web intelligence the free hand sql tool incorporated?. Thanks..

     Many of of DeskI features that prevented us to move to WebI are now fully incorporated, such as:

• Fold Block
• Create you own Grouping
• Create your own starting Templete
• Use of TXT/XLS as a data source
• Use of free-hand SQL

There current only ONE key feature that I still working on with the BI WebI Influence council, that is still missing between DeskI to WebI

desktop intelligence is stopped from BI 4.0.For the migration purpose still you can use deski from BO 3.1 SP06 fix pack1.

Yes Freehand SQL is supported from BI 4.1 SP05.Still you will not get all features but SAP improving this..
