BI Platform Support Tool Issue: Cannot compare 2 uploaded reports

Hello colleagues,

Is there a possibility to compare two reports that were uploaded and not collected directly in BIST?

Customer sent me two reports and i want to compare them, but in report history and in compare part everything is emty. I don't remember in which version but previously it was possible.

Hey Pavel,

Just to further extend on what Josh said, you can copy the two landscape XML files (not the zip itself but the XML inside) to your user data folder.  By default this is: 

C:\Users\<YOURUSERACCOUNT>\AppData\Roaming\BISupportTool\data

Then restart the BIPST client and it will appear in the history.  Then you can run Change Analysis against these two reports (if they are generated from the same CMS cluster)

HI Pavel,

As long as both xml's are from the same env it should work. First copy both xml files to your data folder.  Then open the BIPST and go to the change analysis tab. Select both reports from the list.

if you've done this already and this is what was blank, then email me the files and I'll have a look.
