Set value after approval

dear Experts,

I have requirement to set one attribute value if it is approved by one particular approver, we have cross entity badi implemented but this would trigger if any change happen at UI, It might happen that approver do not change any thing than how to handle ?   

this requirement for material .

Hello Varun,

As suggested by Ramesh, you can create a additional step to validate the approval process. You can get the last changed by details and if there is any changes made by the approver, you can find the details in change document of the CR. Using that you can built your logic.

Use Rule based workflow - system methods . After the CR moves from approval step then this methods will be called .Here you need to set your value

These are nothing but BADI Implementation.
