Rating calculation in Appraisal Form

Hi folks,

My client has requirement of calculating total score in Appraisal form, please guide how to do this, need to know how value determination will be used to solve this requirement:

Requirement:

KRA

     KRA 1     weightage     Manager's Rating (Ranking/PMPR)

     KRA  2    weighatge     Manager's Rating Ranking/PMPR

Competencies

     Competency1     weightage     Manager's Rating (Ranking/PMPR)

     Competency2      weightage     Manager's Rating (Ranking/PMPR)

Score

     Total KRA                         value should come automatically (W1*R1+W2*R2)

     Total Competency              value should come automatically (W1*C1+W2*C2)

     Total KRA+Competency     value should come sum of above two

Reviewer Score

     Weightage     Ranking (FAPP)

Overall score                          value should come automatically (total KRA+Competency+Reviewer score)

P.S. Overall score should be stored in Infotype of PA30.

Nice day.

Value Determination BAdI HRHAP00_VAL_DET can be used.

For Total KRA and Total Competency, standard BAdI implementation HRHAP00_VAL_DET_002 can be used. This is for calculating weighted total.

For 'Total KRA + Competency' and 'KRA + Competency + Reviewer Score', it seems your own customized implementation for this BAdI is needed.

In order to update data in infotype, which infotype do you want to update? Generally speacking,

BAdI HRHAP00_FOLLOW_UP can be used. In standard we provide standard implementations for qualification and potential.

Thanks Lucy. But how to use and where to use these  BAdi. Like on which column should i should these value determination, on ranking? or for total score? at VB level or VC level?

Hi Ruchi,

Please select the value determination implementation for the particular element's particular column, where its value is expected to be determined automatically.

For example, if you have a VB element called as 'KRA in all' in your template, and you want the Final Appraisal (FAPP) value of 'KRA in all' to be determined automatically, then it is needed to select the Value Determination implementation in the particular VB's FAPP column.
