Can we display a tab or link only for specific set of user/customers

Hello Experts,

Can anyone please let me know - if we can display a tab or a navigation link only for specific set of users/employees/customers in Webdynpro.

1. I have created a new view/link in existing Webdynpro - now i want to restrict its access only to specific set users/employees/customers.

Any inputs?

Hi,

You can create an authority object (SU21) assign it to the roles you want (PFCG), assign these roles to the users you want... and then use sentence AUTHORITY-CHECK OBJECT to hide the UI element you want...
