Job hang without error

Hi All,

The job hang without error. I have a job as daily schedule. The actually time running of this job is usual 2 or 3 mins. But today job is running 30 mins and still running mode.

Please suggest anyone please

Hi Murali,

Kill/abort the job and trying reruning the job.

I did the same, kill the job and tried rerunning the job. But still job in running mode.

Hi Murali,

I suspect the memory allocated for the target table is full and there is no space to load the data.

Once cross check this.

Check if your Source system is up and running. I cannot comment from here. It can be a different cause.

Hi Arun/Ravi,

I am getting below screen in monitor log

my job flow is SQL Transform-->Query-->SAP BW Target

The source database is up and running fine. but still my job in running mode and struck at dataflow level.

It's possible there is a long-running operation/query in the database from your job (or another) that is masquerading in DS as being stuck. Have your DBA trace the session from your Job Server on the database to find out what it's doing. And/or try running the SQL from your transform directly against the database and check the result. It's possible the table statistics are stale, or the execution plan changed and now the SQL is not running as efficiently as before.
