Can I create warranty master without product category?

Dear Dai Minh,

As you can see, the product category is a mandatory field. So it cannot be left empty.

But also this product category is only for reporting purposes, it does not control which products are/are not covered under this warranty. (See exclusions)

For our current customer we are using a Sub category for the warranty assignment, because the lowest level didn't represent the warranty correct. In order to do this your product catehory hierarchy sub level needs to have 'product assignment allowed'
