Hello Gurus,

I have a query about NUMKR feature.

We want to migrate employees from one system to another and in target system expected number range is not available.

Can you please let me know if I can assign two number ranges in NUMKR feature in otherwise?

Regards,

Yogiraj

Hello Praneeth,

Thanks for reply.

Actually when we are trying to hire employee in SAP it giving error 'Personnel Number not within interval for number range XX'.

Now Number Range 'XX' is external and has interval '05001001' to '08999999' which does not contain specific PERNR we are hiring.

Also there is one more external number range 'XY' which contains PERNR which we are hiring.

So I was curious if I can assign these two intervals to NUMKR so that I need not to extend number range 'XX'.

Please let me know if you have any options other than extending the interval.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

No yogiraj, we cant assign two number ranges as return value in the NUMKR feature. you have to extend your external number range no other option in your case. otherwise use the PERNR with in the existing number range.
