Hi,

What is spool request , spool request and spool is same.

and wht is the purpose of transaction code <b>SU53</b>

Hi,

Whenever you run any transaction, lets say a big report, you require it to run in the background, so you need to see the output when it is finished...so where does SAP will store it?...Answer is it is stored in the spool.

Output of all the background job is stored in the spool.

SU53 is used to check if the last transaction you executed ,you had access to it or not. Lets say if you don't have access to any transaction then after executing transaction you can check in SU53, which authorization object is missing.

No. It is the only use.

Transaction code is SP01.

Also you can check the spool assigned to any job directly throgh SE37.

Hi Suresh,

One another use with spool request is tht you can modify,delete your request from spool. You can access your spool request from Status--->Spool Request[SP01].

If the spool is created for a job you can see it in SM37.
