Information Structures:-In an information system, data aggregation is necessary in order to ensure that the user has a clear overview of key interrelationships. Since the requirements which need to be satisfied by data aggregation are determined by many different user groups, it is absolutely vital that aggregation functionality is flexible. Experience shows that various user groups need to view aggregated data from many different perspectives.

    example in SD Information Structure

In the SAP standard info structure S012 is updated by the Purchase Order creation date, not the Goods Receipt date. e.g. a Purchase Order is created in January and good receipt is in February and March, S012 will shows the values in period January.

    Transaction MC26

Info structure S012 Update group (stats) SAP

Double click on Goods received qty

In the section Date field for period determination

    Hi,

Use trxn MC23 to display info structures

these are just transparent tables like any other. You can select data from them the same as any other transparent table.

Cretae an info strcture follow the steps

    1. Creation of infostructures - MC21

    2. Creation of update rules - MC24

    3. Activation (for SD)- OMO1

    4. Populating data into info structure - MCSZ

    Reward points
