Hi All,

I am exposing web service at XI server.

I am facing the problem of PL_TIMEOUT.

Please could you share your experiences to resolve this issue?

Hi,

Look At the Following Explanation

ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT error

There are two ways of changing this timeout:

a) check out note: 824554 and try to change it in the instance profile

b) TCODE SXMB_ADM -> Configure Integration server -> change specific identifiers

Set Runtime parameter: HTTP_TIMEOUT

Rember to restart XI after the change

Hi Udo,

Sory for the late response.

I am exposing web service at XI.

I have to communicate with SAP system through BAPI and wait untill SAP System sends response by using another BAPI.

And pass this response to the requestor.

I have achieved this using BPM synch asynch bridge.

But i am facing problem of PL_TIMEOUT if number of calls are more.

Please let me know, do you want more information on the issue.

I have already set it to 10000.

Please let me know when pl_timeout comes into picture?
