For the purpose of the cut over, it is desirable that there are no open orders as on the date of the stock taking. Thus, WIP shall be zero as on the cut off date. If the existence of WIP is unavoidable, then the materials consumed shall be treated as the materials of the previous stage and necessary adjustments shall be passed after the cut over date.
