Field Ret. costs in ABAON is not displaying

Hi All,

I am facing the probelm in some of Asset accounting related postings and I need some help from the Forum on this.

Description:

When I try to post Asset scrapping(ABAVN) or Asset sale without Customer(ABAON) the field 'Ret. Cost' was suppressed in the system. Can anyone tell me how I can get that field in the screen? I also checked with the ABAP programmer on this and in SE51 we can see that this screen was activated and there is no check made for 'Invisible'.

Is there any configuration change is required for that?

Field Name: VERKO

Structure : RAIFP2

Screen: 0212

It can be caused by the settings in the field status group related to the account (table T004F).

Did you tried to change field status in customizing:

(IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Document -> Line Item -> Controls -> Assign Company Code to Field Status Variants - trans. OBC5)

After that, go the screen for Maintainance of field status variants (for the allready checked Field Status Variant - trans. OBC4).

Choose the suitable field status group (probably G052 - Accounts for fixed asset retirement)
