how to create transport request and how to release the created one.

Hi,

You can create a trasport reuqests using SE09 transaction.

Once you create it you will give you one default tasks below that reuqest. You can also create many more tasks below that reuqest for other user or for yourself.

Inorder to release the request you need to release all the tasks under that reuqest first.

In SE09 there is button with Truck icon you can use that button to release the tasks first and then the requests.

go to SE10 Tcode and click the create button and give the description..

save the objects in it..

In SE10, click the Truck icon and thus release the tasks first and then the requests

whenever   you create  new  program, table  , function group, function module ...etc ...

it will give you there  pop for development class ,   so first thing in any system is  creating of the developement class ....  it is alos saved in the change request  ..

choose development class   option  ...give z*** , then press enter  ...

it will ask you the   text , and then the change reuqset ... there is an icon like  white  paper  ...click on it is  for creating a new  request for that development class  ...  
saved & activate  it  .


then   after creating of the  developement class ...


you can save your   new  program, table  , function group, function module ...etc ...
in that  development  class ...


for   release the request  ...

goto se10 /se09 

put   by defualt the  user name  will  come   execute it  ... it will list the request  .....


and   list of task willl be ther under the  change request  ...

release the   task first    by palcing the  cursor exactly in the   task  no ...  and   cliclk on th icon  lorry  ... so that it will be release   by   giving   right tick moark icon  infront of the   task  .... then

the main  release   release it  by pressing again the lorry icon ..

so that you  request is  released ...



if you have n number of task inside a  change request  ...please relase all the task fisrt  then  relase the main request  ... otherwise  it will give you the  error .
