How can i delete failed delta from Infoobject table

Hi All,

My delta upload to one of the Infoobject failed, its processing was "Not in PSA but in Infoobject table at once".

How can i delete this delta and request repeat again, coz when i go to that infoobject, right click for context menu it doesnt show "manage" where i can see the failed request and delete it.

Now i changed its processing to PSA & Infoobject table so that in future i can use request from PSA.

How can i delete this failed request???( do i need to delete all the master data for that infoobject & reload again or any other viable solutions????)

Thanks in Advance

Regards

Robyn.

Hi Robyn,

If its concerns masterdata, you just can do a full load to be shure to have to master data updated again.

Or do a new init.

You don't have to delete the masterdata first.

Why you need to delete dmaster data? you only need to reload all the data... teh master data is overwritten.....

Hi Oscar,

That delta fialed coz of this error:

" 7 duplicate record found. 44 recordings used in table /BI0/XMATERIAL"

"7 duplicate record found. 44 recordings used in table /BI0/XMATERIAL"

How can i delete duplicate records, so that the next delta will be successful.

Hi Robyn,

Usually when a Master Data Delta Load fails, we have to do an initialization as Repeat is not supported by Master Data Loads.

In the infopackage for the load(full load).

Goto Processing Tab, choose the option "Only PSA" , "UPdate subsequently in data targets:" and "Ignore duplicate records".

If this does not work, pls use Error Handling from the Update Tab to ignore errors.

Once the full load is successful, you can turn the Delta Request(failed request) GREEN (But this is not advised, do this only if you cannot afford to lose time going for an initialization)

Hope this helps,

Praveen.

Hi,

If you make an infoobject as an InfoProvider then only you will get the option of "Manage". It seems u have loaded the Object by taking infosource as Direct Update.

If any delta fails during loading process and no update in PSA, then u can go again for Initialization Delta process. This process will overwright all old data and add new, if any. Then u can run Delta.

Hope it helps u.

Thanks,
