Dear all
TDS deducted should be rounded off to the nearest of Rupee in SAP. Because we cant show TDS figures in paise. But I would like to bring to your attention that as per Income Tax Act, TDS is to be paid to the Government to the nearest of Rupee. So keeping the Income Tax rules in mind, TAX is to be rounded off to the nearest of rupee.
plz suggest
Hi Syed,
What you want to say?
TDS gets rounded up at all the cases. You can do it in WH Tax type. Under Rounding Rule, use radio button Round w/tax amt up.
i.e 1.67 become 2.00 & 1.25 also become 2.00.
Hope it solves your query.

No it wont happen that way.
At the time of invoice, system will calculate as per specifications given in WH TAX type settings.
There only you need to use rounding rule radio button. As payment of tds happens through system, you can not control that.
As per IT Act, you can round up while bookong invoice.
