Adding long terms & conditions verviage print layout template

I want to add a second page to the sales quote print layout to include our terms and conditions. I know you can setup a template with 2 pages. But where do I insert the Text field that contains the terms & conditions?

Francisco,

As per Natalia's message, you will need to Upgrade to Patch 29 or later in order to see the Page Break Option in Start of Report and End of Report.

It should work fine once you set the Page Break.

I cannot see a way to make a T&C page print after the details of a sales quote. Even with the page break feature, it just doesn't allow enough flexibility.

I trying to accomplish the same task. Using 2007A, I cannot find anything that will allow a page break. Is there a way to keep the page headings from printing page 2?

I've highlighted this issue to SAP Support as our client needs a whole page (A4) for their terms and conditions, and they would also like to 'keep together' the terms and conditions. IE: when printing, the T&C will come out in a seperate full page.

Because the T&C is a full page of text, it is not possible to fit all of that text in the remaining area of the page / report footer.

What I needed was the ability to extend the default Print Layout Designer to excede the default A4 / Letter size the PLD is set to.

SAP Support's reply to me is that this feature is currently un-available. This issue has been posted in the SAP Business One Product Development Collaboration forum

In the "End Of Report" section of the Print Layout. This will place the text after the end of the document.

Is there a way to insert a page-break so the T&Cs are dispaly in its own page? May I be able to not print the Page Header on this page?

Hi,

In version 2005 on areas "Start of Report" and "End of Report" you have an additional field: "Page Break". If you create the T&C for example on the area "Page Footer" and put on the "End of Report" a page break, you only have to play with height. And also in this case there will be no page header as you needed.

Hope it helps!

Hello Natalia,

I have version 2005 but I don't see the Page Break option in neither the Start or End of Report areas.

I have added a text field with my T&Cs in the End of Report area but because of the field height the T&Cs are printed in two pages. It does not look good.

Thank you

Hi,

In version 2005A in window "Properties - Area: End of Report" on General tab there is an additional field "Page Break", you can choose None, Before area, After area.

Hope this helps.

Sorry,

But I don't see a Page Break option in the Properties, General tab of the Area: End of Report.

The only fields showing are the Unique ID, Height, and Visible check box.

I'm using 2005A SP 01 PL 29. Maybe we are using not the same version?

I believe the page break option is there, but the main issue here is having alot of text (A4 sized)?

You cant fit that much text into the PLD form, because its 'tied' to the A4 page the PLD defaults to.

Yes, the page break option does help alot btw, only if you've got a few T&C items i guess

I think there should be no problem with this, because as long as the text will exceed the size of an A4 page it will continue on the next page. And because of you put a page break before this area (and the T&C will be probably always the same long) you can then customize the text as you can tell where do you want the page break to be inside the T&C text.

The problem is really why Francisco doesn't have that field on the area properties.

Why I am not seeing the Page Break?

I am running SAP Business One 2005 A (6.80.318) SP: 01 PL: 14.

Any ideas?
