Hi,

It corresponds to planned compensation Infotype(IT1005). By specifying the planned remuneration ,you can record info on salary and remuneration structures. In this way the system can propose data for payscale type(XX) & pay scale area(YY) by using the position currently ocupied by employee.

IT(1005) has 3 attributes.

1)Salary : You can store info abt the planned positioning of position and job in your company's salary structure(Table t710)

2)Pay scale :You can store info abt the planned positioning of position and job for payscale structure(Table T510)

3)Direct : Used by companies that do not have a salary or paysacle structure.

Planned Renumeration Type is either going to be

P for Pay Scale; Usually for Indirect Evaluation, step pay scales, non negotiable pay

or

S for Salary; Usually for Direct Evaluation Employees, negotiable pay

xx/yyyy/S or xx/yyyy/P

P looks at table 510

S looks at table 710

You are able to see the effect this has on infotype 0008 by switching between the above defaults.

When defaulting this information infotype 0008 will display the renumeration type direction above the field 'Reason'.

You are able to switch between renumeration types in infotype 0008 in change mode directly by selecting from the Menu; Edit -> Change Renumeration Type.

All of this only matters if Org Management doesn't have a value stored in infotype 1005.

Hi

Please refer to table 710 series. if u use planned remuneration type 710 table has to be used instead of table 510.

Hi,

As per my knowledge Feature Tariff uses only 2values that is pay scale type and pay scale area.

Planned Remunaration : In the Planned Remuneration infotype (1005), you define the planned remuneration for a position or a job. There are three types of planned remuneration: Pay scale, Salary/Wage, and Direct.

When setting a default for planned remuneration using the planned remuneration type ‘Pay scale’, the following are stored in the infotype: pay scale type, pay scale group, and pay scale level. The amount is displayed from Customizing. Converting the Planned remuneration infotype (1005) is not required

more details on planned remunaration can be lloked into this link...

Hi Ram,

Feature TARIF defaults the values of Pay scale type/Pay scale area, which means to say only 2 values. Where do find the "Planned remuneration type" in IT0008?

From the example qouted below

Feature TARIF defaults xx/yy in the infotype basic pay (IT0008).

Award points if helpful.

Best wishes

Dear Ram,

For TARIF feature, Payscale type and Payscale area will be assigned to ur empl group. where as for planned remuneration specification feature LGMST, we will assign total(proposed) number of wage types in ur organization and the wage type model should be assigned to ur empl group.. Ex:In ur decision tree, empl group, empl subgroup, 20/xxxx. Here 20 is the number of wage types and 'xxxx' is ur org wage type model. Wage type model will be created in 'Revise Default Wage types' node.

Hai..

Following is a copy of the doc of the feature TARIF from the t code PE03....

TARIF: Default Pay Scale Type/Area and Planned Remuneration Type in Basic Pay

60000001

Feature

60000002

With this feature you control whether the default value is determined from T001P from the personnel area and personnel subarea, or whether the default value is determined directly from the feature.

The return value must have the form xx/yy/z, in which xx is the pay scale type, yy the pay scale area, and z the planned remuneration type.

If the feature returns SPACE as a value, then the value pay scale type or pay scale area is determined by table T001P. If the value does not equal SPACE, then this value will be taken as the pay scale type or pay scale area.

You can either enter return both values or only one of the two values. The missing value is determined from table T001P.

Hai.

It probably corresponds to IT 1005..

In the Planned Remuneration infotype (1005), you define the planned remuneration for a position or a job.

Converting the Planned remuneration infotype (1005) is not required.
