Dataload stops after a minute

Hi,

We are trying to copy data from one cube to another. Once the infopackage start running, it remains there in 'yellow' status forever with '0' records pulled. Job log from from Environment-->Job overview --> In the source system shows that actually the job stopped runing within a minute or so.There was no log after that. However the job doesn't error out.

Any idea what's going wrong here?

Thanks...

Hi Shankar,

Check the job status in source system and see the job logs and check in source system Short dump is there at the same time?

If u find the short dump analyse in SM21 give the exact date and time check the rereadlogs and analyse the logs.

There might be issue with basis related analyse all the things inform them

Still don't know the root cause, however running db stats via db20 resolved the issue

Hi,

pls. check if there are any attribute change run that is still pending to be run.

- for this check in rsa1->tools->attribute change run->infoobject list. If there are any, run the attrib. change run.

How are you updating the 2nd Infocube ? Using 'export datasoucre' ?

Best Regards

Two attribute change runs were scheduled. I manually ran them, but two still display as scheduled.

Yes we are updating the 2nd infoube via export datasource.

Thanks,

Shankar,

See how many parallel process you have - we had a similar situation and we raised an OSS and we were asked to increase the number of parallel process from 3 to 10 and the loads went through.

Arun

P.S this was in a BI7 system after it was upgraded to Sp13 BI7 from BI3.5
