Multicube

Hi,

I am using the SAP BW book by Fu Fu. In that book they r telling that for creating multicube use multicube option...I didn't find in my BW edit infucube screen. I found only basic cube and virtualcube. what can I do for that.

Hi Vithul,

The Fu & Fu book is based on SAP BW 2.0 when only a multicube was was possible between 2 cubes. With SAP BW 3.0 you create a "MultiProvider" between cube & Cube, Cube & ODS, etc..You can also include an info-object also in the Multiprovider.

To create a Multiprovider, Right click on the Info Area -> Create Multiprovider. Select all the Data Targets and give the appropriate join condition.

that explanation about "BW 2.0 multicubes" and "BW 3.0 Multiproviders" solved my doubt.

Right click on the infoarea and select create multiprovider..

I guess you are selecting create infocube..
