Limat,

You must import the the customized IDOC to XI and do ur mappings based on that structure

Hi Limat,

This is wat you need to do ...

1. Add custom segment to Idoc....which you have done

2. Populate data using User Exit...which you have done

3.Now since you have changed the structure of the idoc you need to reimport the idoc...so goto transaction IDX2 in XI , delete existing metadata for that idoc and reimport new meta data.

4.You need to reimport this idoc structure into IR as well for mapping. When you will reimport it you will see your custom segment as well..so map the values as normally you are mapping for other fields..( Once you import again idoc in IR, there is no difference in custom / standard idoc as far as mapping is consider :).

Thats all....

Hope this will help.

Let me know if you need more details.

Limat,

If i understand it rite, you are currently using a standard idoc, now you want to customiz the idoc(IDOC with extensions), add a new segment to it rite.

You will have to reimport the IDOC into the Integration repository, refresh your message mappings with this new IDOC metadata, you should now see the custom field/segment in the message mapping, refresh in idx2 at runtime and you should be all set.

Hi,

Try to delete the Meta data of existing one and try it out. It will replicate and also as Saravana suggested try to re import the Custom that is modified IDOC and refresh the cache and check it out
