Regarding selection criteria

Hi Group,

Need a clarification on description fields in any table.

If there is a CHAR field in any table and for that field if we give selection range as A* to C*,

then in the output list of that table it only shows the entries for all the A's and B's data. It doesnt show the data corresponding to C.

For eg: you can check the data for the tables KNA1 and MAKT.

Could you please let me know if this is the standard SAP process?

Urgent please, and many thanks in advance.

Thank and Regards,

Suganya.

No the reason may be that the field you are using has a domain with

'Lower Case' allowed, in this case if you enter A* system will not bring data for a*

Hi,

Yes, this is the Standard SAP Process, because it will search from A* to C, so, it will search from A to Before the C, so it will give all the Data belongs to A and B*

Sudheer,

Thanks for your valuable reply.

Is this is only for Char field? For numeric fields we are getting the data correctly.
