Eliminating warning messages in Load Data Stream

I am able to execute LDS task and able to load data from the source BI cube to target BCS cube. However there are warning messages generated during the upload which is causing concern. The warning messages are related to Fiscal Year of the first acquisition period, Period in which first acquisition was posted, Country, Investee Unit and Allocation Unit fields.

I have been thinking that these data (constant all the times) are all coming from Consolidation Unit master data. However, LDS is also asking the same data from BI cube. Since BI cube does not have these data, warning messages are generated which can be understood.

I would prefer to eliminate these fields from LDS and would like to enter in BCS cube once for all. I would be thankful if I can be guided how I can do that.

Points will be assigned for answers.

Thanks in advance.

More specific details (exact wording) regarding the warning messages would be helpful.

In the meantime I suggest you possibly remove any mapping for characteristics mentioned in the warning as well as removing these characteristics from the breakdown categories.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your message.

(1) The warning messages are as follows:

W not compatible with internal format for source field First acq.per.

W not compatible with internal format for source field Year of Acquisition

Any way, these data are not available in BI source cube.

(2) I have not made any specific mapping to these fields in LDS configuration.

I have given the operator as 'move' and did not specify any value.

(3) In breakdown categories, the fields "Year of Acquisition" and "First acq.per." are not selected at all. Our BD categories are Business Area, Functional Area, Trading Partner and Movement Type and combination of the same. Hence I do not understand how I can remove these characteristics from breakdown categories. Can you please clarify?

Thanks in advance.

Tim

try removing the MOVE operator.

For these fields do not specify any condition or operator.

I agree with Marcel. Simply delete the rule altogether for these characteristics and the warning should no longer occur.
