ESS error

Hi all,

After deploying ESS & MSS packages, configuring the JCO destinations & the systems, I am getting the following error:

failed to create or init instance of model 'com.sap.pcuigp.xssfpm.wd.model.InitServiceModel' in scope APPLICATION_SCOPE with instanceId 'null'

I am running on Portal 7.0 and ECC 5.0

Hi Aviad Levy,

I think its problem with Activation in J2EE server side, there u need to activate some services by which u r problem can be solved. (this one probability check with it)

Hi kishore kumar,

I am checking the deployed content in the "Web Dynpro Content Administration" and everything is green lighted (including the mentioned model).

Is there another way to check? any other thing I can do?

Have you also the PCUI* bussiness package?

Hi all,

Thanks for your help.

I have managed to solve the problem on my own.

We have upgraded from ECC 5.0 to 6.0 and deployed again and everything worked like a charm.
