startsap r3 failed on distributed ERP2005 on DB6/AIX

I'm trying to install a distributed SAP ERP 2005 SR2 on DB6/AIX
and I have use HACMP for high availiable
now,I have NODE A (visual hostname is prdapp) and NODE B( visual name is prddb)
if i move resouce both prdapp and prddb to the same one host,they can work well both.
but,if i distributed two node on to two host,eg:DI on host prddb,CI on host prdapp
I run startdb as sidadm on prddb,It can start normally
then i run "startsap r3" on prdapp,It will return errors as:
"remote database must be started first"
and I use "R3trans -x"
there is some errors

I have delete the database on prdapp server
and then catalog it again
so it works well

in your case the relevant error message seems to be:

If your app server is separate from db server, the app server requires a database instance with valid entries in the database directory, that the database can be found. In an SAP environment the app server uses the database instance that is installed as user db2<dbsid>. This is shared with the database server, if they are on the same host.
In your scenario, I would first check where the instance home directory /db2/db2<dbsid> resides, wenn app server and db server are separate. Then check on the app server, if you are able to issue db2 list db directory as <sapsid>adm. There need to be an entry for your database ERD.
With 7.00 and DB2 9, you can use a CLI driver setup to avoid these kind of problems. With DB2 Version 8 or < 7.00, it depends if you can share the /db2/db2<dbsid> directory on both hosts. If yes, you need do a recataloguing of your database as described in the SAP MSCS installation guide. If this is not possible, it get even more complex. Before we continue here, please check, if you run into the problem, I anticipated.
