Deletion of ODS Change logs, performance gain?

Hi

We have currently not done any deletion of ODS Change logs in our BI system(BI 7.0).

Is there any major performance gains when doing this? When loading to and from an ODS after a change log deletion has been done.

I assume that it would also benefit discspace use.

HI,

Change log maintains the history of records,it will be difficult to track if you have more records.

Change log table will have history of added records as it works on before and after image.

Yes it would definitely sshow some improvement. Also it depends on the load type. Again as you said you will save some disc space.
