Guys,
we have about 200 Workbench & Customizing transports. i want to consolidate the Workbench into one & Customizing into one transport.
so i will end-up with 2 transports.
is this possible ??? i tried it with a few... but it didnt work... although individually importing them worked... when i created a consolidated on using about 10 transports, the consolidated one failed.
Hi,
For a typical R/3 transports, yes you can consolidate into one transport, by creating a new WB transport and merge all the WB transports into new one.
In SE10 - Create a transport and in the following screen Menu
Request/Task --> ObjectList --> Include objects that gives option for entering multiple transports to be merged.
same goes to Customizing Request as well.
But if these transports are BI objects, and objects were inter-dependent like infoarea and datatypes etc. then you have no choice to import them individually, unless you planning on spending some time and understand the dependencies and merge together.
hope this helps.
