Hi Jeff,
impossible is nothing, but SAP is only supported on several linux distributions.
(enterprise versions of RedHat and SuSE)
Please see OSS #171356 for all supported distributions.
Since Netweaver 2004s you should not run your productive systems on 32 Bit platforms.
(see OSS #996600)
