How can i automatically assign a batch number in my when i do my MB1C transaction
I am getting a warning msg when i try entering a material and qty, i want to automatically assign a batch number when i give a material and qty
Warning msg is Automatic batch number allocation is inactive or not allowed

Well WM is an extenison of MM. It is better to try for MM as the openings for MM are more generic in nature. Once you are a experienced MM consultant you are expected to know about WM.

In my opinion MM & WM are very linked, so ... This will depends on project you'll be involved in...
I don't think you have to do a choice.
